Opening Sequence Analysis 1

The slow eerie music and the view of the city tells the audience that something bad is about to happen there. The ticking sound in the music may suggest that time is running out or that something is going to happen very soon. Two characters are introduced straight away, this may show that they are two of the main characters, or something may happen to someone they are close to. The music creates a strange and frightening mood which may give a foreshadow of the main plot. The main hook is probably the title, the audience want to know what the 'panic room' is about and who experiences it and what happens to them.
